The very Indian loco, Bhagat ki Kothi's WDG-4D. More than a year ago it visited Gurgaon, it came as a surprise. And this became our 2019 Independence day special post. And later this year's as well

WDP 1

In the verge of becoming extinct, the very first loco of WDP series, WDP-1. At the time when this picture was clicked, it belonged to Tughlakabad D.L.S. but it belongs to Izzatnagar D.L.S. By the way that Izzatnagar D.L.S. even too our toaster aka WDP-3A

Passenger locomotive hauling goods trainAfter seeing this with my eyes, I went to washroom and cleaned my eyes not once, twice! WDP-4D hauling freight train. Okay we agree WDP 4D has enough power to haul a freight train but what about gear ratio? Do ypu know goods loco and passenger type loco have different gear ratio. Anyway, as expected loco met with failure and a SBI WDG 4 came to for rescue.

A moment from 2019 monsoon at Gurgaon Railway station. This picture is special because Whole station was occupied by goods train which is very very rare here. up line, down line, main lie, loop line just everywhere and this piggie face makes its way through platform number 2.

WDG 4 and WAG 9

2 Green goblins, alike but different

Alike because both are goods trsin locomotive but different becauase one works on diesel traction and other works on electric. WDG 4 is from Ponmalai D.L.S. and WAG 9 is from Kalyan E.L.S.

The mighty WAG 12, a new sensation for Railfan community

The most charming yet, most powerful and advanced locomotive of our railways. There is a memory attached with this picture do read :) So one morning 6:00 am, I got a call from my Railfan buddy Tushar (@tushardec4616). He told me this beast (WAG 12) is coming and its current location is Delhi Cantt. So usually train takes maximum 20 minutes to reach Gugaon(my place) from Delhi Cantt. So after hearing this news on phone, I immediately left my bed headed over to this location. By 06:15, I reached these railway tracks and wait for this beast began. At 6:20 it was at Bijwasan (5 kms away from my place) So it should be here in next 5 minutes. But no no no, things don't work that way. It was more than an hour and no sign of this train coming. It was standing at Bijwasan from 6:20, and.now it was 07:40.  Sadly I had a very important work to do at home so decided to go back but still I waited for 10 minutes more.
